Candidate for Sanderson
I arrived in the Northern Territory in early 1995 working remotely at Millingimbi and Elcho Island, for 4 years as an accountant.
After completing an MBA in finance in 1999, I went to Dili Timor Leste becoming involved in the Timor Lodge Hotel and Dili Ice and Water Works.
Returning to Darwin in 2003, I commenced the establishment of an Accounting firm and worked at MacArthur River Mine.
By 2006 I was fully engaged within my Accounting Firm, securing premises in Cavenagh Street Darwin, which I still hold today.
To enhance the services offered by my Accounting firm, I studied Law at Charles Darwin University and was admitted to the Northern Territory Supreme Court in March 2014.
Having seen numerous hard-working small business and Mum and Dad clients suffer over the last 3 years, with their business incomes noticeably reduced, loss of jobs, property values severely diminished, and superannuation nest eggs decimated, I knew it was time to contribute to the community.
Friends and colleagues have been surprised and extremely supportive, to hear I am running for politics with the Country Liberal Party due to my integrity, honesty, and compassion. I firmly believe that this is the beginning of a new era, it is now time to start rebuilding a Territory that will create jobs, an economy that has sustainable growth, and opportunities for all Territorians.
Like many Territorians, I enjoy fishing and the outdoors and jogging and playing tennis, weather permitting.
